The Mint Juleps Relay for Life team would like to thank you for attending or donating to our Derby Day event this year. Fighting cancer is a team effort for the Mint Juleps. The impact we can make together is much greater than what any of us could do alone. The Derby Day event is on a Saturday afternoon to watch the running of the Kentucky Derby...we watch the race, listen to music, use play money to bet on your favorite horse, and put your name on some fabulous items for the silent auctions and raffles. This year our event raised $15,069 for the American Cancer Society. We hope you know how much your generosity is appreciated and how proud we are to have people in our lives that are passionate about ending cancer.

This year we added something new to our celebration. We asked our guests to tell us who they relay for by writing it on a board and letting us take their picture. From those pictures we created the slideshow below. As you can see, we have many reasons to continue the fight. Click on the 2012 event photos for additional pictures of our event. Again, we thank you so much for making this event a success and honoring our loved ones. We continue to take donations until August. We hope to have your support next year on May 4, 2013 for the 139th running of the Kentucky Derby! See you at the races!
